Curriculum
Our curriculum shows how we support and develop each child’s learning in the 7 key areas of the Early Years Foundation Stage and how we progress their development ready for when they go to school.
Our long-term planning shows what themes, festivals and seasons we will cover throughout the year. Due to the differentiation in the pattern that children come to preschool and that all children learn differently, the implementation is flexible and can be changed in response to a child’s individual need.
We measure the impact of our provision and activities both in the moment and more periodically to ensure that all of our children are making good progress. As your child plays, they will be learning skills, acquiring new knowledge, and demonstrating their understanding through seven areas of learning and development.

Seven areas of learning and development
The Early Years Foundation Stage sets out seven areas of learning. We support children across all of them through play, themes and adult-guided activities.
